What are the Benefits for a Business?

When workers participate in a preventative care management program, a healthier workforce is created. Employers can leverage these health-focused programs to attract and retain employees while displaying a genuine care for the employees' personal well-being. This also may result in tax savings for the company via a SIMRP (Self Insured Medical Reimbursement Program) or WIMPER plan, enhancing its profitability in addition to potentially fully funding the cost of the program.

What are the Benefits to Employees?

Employees can utilize a range of tools and resources related to diet and nutrition, physical activity, stress management, goal setting, and more. All programs are offered to eligible employees and their family members funded through tax savings. Access to program benefits and resources is available through a customized portal on a laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. Participation in a preventative care management program may create a tax savings that allows eligible employees to participate in extra benefits, including savings-based insurance programs, without decreasing their net pay.

Tax Compliance

The Preventative Care Management program may be implemented with a Self-Insured Medical Reimbursement Plan (SIMRP). This program has been purposely created, fully researched, and found compliant with IRC 213(d), 106(a), 105(b), 1.105-11(i) and 104(a) (3) codes, and all applicable IRS memos, ERISA regulations, HIPAA, and the ADA.
